2019 IRS COVID-19 Tax Deadline Changes

First, we wish you, your families and your businesses safe and healthy passage through this ever changing Covid-19 landscape that continues to impact our lives in so many ways.

As you may already have heard on the news, Treasury Secretary Mnuchin, by direction of Pres. Trump has extended the tax filing deadline of April 15 to July 15, now in harmony with the payment deadline previously announced.  This will give all of us a chance to breathe and reduce some stress in our lives during this unique health crisis. 

We encourage you to submit your tax documents to us as soon as possible so your “refund” or “balance due” status for tax year 2019 may be determined so that you can plan appropriately. 

There is also a new announcement regarding small business owners.
